Our crew/herd of Nigerian Dwarf and ND Mixes

Our love affair with goats began three years ago, and we’re still head over hooves for them. They bring us daily doses of joy, from following us around like loyal dogs to their playful antics like running sideways and kicking up their little hooves. And let’s not forget their voracious appetite for brush and grass around our property.

Nigerian Dwarf goats are miniature dairy goats, with mature bucks reaching approximately 23″ tall and does around 22″ tall. While primarily kept as pets, some owners also milk the does, as a productive doe can produce around two liters of rich, sweet milk daily, high in butterfat content.

Our goats receive plenty of hands-on attention, especially the new babies. It’s a demanding job, but someone’s got to do it.

Rest assured, our goats come from a small, disease-tested herd. They are free of CL abscesses and undergo regular testing for CAE and Johne’s disease on a yearly basis.

This purebred Nigerian Dwarf Doeling is a vision of grace and charm on our farm. With her delicate stature and endearing nature, Mona captures our hearts as she gracefully follows our every move. Yet, beneath her demure exterior lies a spark of mischief, earning her the title of our very own escape artist. Despite her occasional escapades, Mona’s sweet disposition and unwavering loyalty make her an irreplaceable part of our farm family.
